The consultancy, with years of experience in recording studio design, build and acoustics, have tried many different fixing methods for acoustic panels and found nothing came close to the efficiency and ease of Button-fix.
It is always pleasing to get unsolicited feedback from happy users of our Button-fix panel fixings. When Ben Claridge, one of the directors of Acoustic Structures, contacted us we were excited to share this video walk-through of a recording studio project his practice had recently completed. All the acoustic panels and many of the joinery items were secretly mounted using Type 1 Button-fix.
9M Studios is a family owned, state of the art recording studio in South London. It features three control rooms surrounding an impressive multi-purpose Live Room, which can be used for: tracking, producing, rehearsing, song writing, voiceovers, music videos, filmed live sessions, promotional videos and many other possibilities.
Ben commented “this is a message from out of the ether to say how much we love Button-fix. We hang all our acoustic panels with them ...and pretty much anything else given the opportunity” and added that it is a "great simple design."

Thank you to everyone who visited us at the Professional Woodworking Expo 2026 at the NEC, Birmingham. If you missed our talk on why the right panel connectors are important for offsite manufacturing, here is a transcript.
