It was clear from Gavin Tutton Carpentry's Instagram post that he loves using Button-fix. We interviewed him to find out why.
Gavin set up his carpentry business after a three-year joinery apprenticeship. His business model is predominantly concerned with kitchen installations. He engages other relevant trades to help complete the installations.
Gavin heard about Button-fix via Instagram and likes using the fixings because the different types make installation a breeze. Whilst kitchens are the mainstay of his business, where he uses Buttonfix for breakfast bar panels, he also uses Type 2 for fitting easily removable bath panels. Although he has tried other fixings, they do not always meet his demanding requirements.
"I was installing a bath panel, but the customer wanted it fully removable. This is where Buttonfix Type 2 comes into its own. The clips are extremely strong, so they won't ever fall off, but with the right amount of force, you are able to pull the panel off the clips; and they are so easy to install."
When asked why he especially likes Button-fix, he said, "I love the tools that mark the screw positions on the panels and how easy they are to fit. The customer said they were over the moon with how we achieved a removable bath panel."
