Button-fix Type 1

Our robust and reliable original fastener

Connects parallel panels where the emphasis is on strength. Highly versatile, it can be surface-mounted or semi-recessed into the panel, orientated for vertical or sideways assembly.

Both parts of the connector are moulded from 30% glass filled nylon PA6 - a strong and robust engineering polymer. As a general guide, four Button-fix Type 1 fasteners on a vertical panel will support loads weighing up to a maximum of 440lbs (200kg), provided that the screws and substrate are properly matched and all other installation instructions are complied with. Manufactured in the UK.

Accessories for

Button-fix Type 1

Button Marker for Type 1 & Type 3

The Button Marker for both Type 1 and Type 3 helps to quickly and accurately align the Button-fix installation, reducing the need for measuring and marking out.

Snap a marker into each Fix, then position the second panel and press firmly. The marker points will leave indents in the panel surface, which can be used as pilot guides for the Buttons.
